Suspenseful Contemporary Romance with Passion
May 15, 2017
I write stories of Suspense and Contemporary Romance with Passion because I enjoy an epic love story. It’s more than the meeting of two individuals and feeling the sparks and tingling excitement of new love. It’s the experience of the Love of Legends, the deep Love that’s so consuming, that once experienced, it threatens to cause death if it no longer exists…in short…the Love of Romantics. For me, it has to be a great a Love story…a love that: trumps adversity; gives courage to buck the status quo; and brings heartwarming happiness. Even though there’s nothing wrong with my world, I enjoy escaping into their world. How do I know that? If I can identify with the characters to an extent that they become real to me, and when not reading their experiences, Ibecome truly lonely and ache for their company. But my most compelling reason for writing stories of Legendary Love is because I’m a Romantic, and Romantics see things differently than those that are not. The challenge of a Romantic in today’s world of practicality is finding another Romantic. That doesn’t mean you can’t find someone to love, there are plenty of those good folks, howeverdiscoveringa Romantic is a time consuming quest easily compromised and part of the suspense of their existence. But it is a search well worth it, for their pairing produces explosive Love with Passion, for it’s part of a theirDNA, bubbling just below the surface, only activated when in the presence of an elusive Romantic. That’s the world I write of, the realityI want to share and the novels Romance Readers love to read.

That’s a good question. What am I talking about? A Romantic is a person with Romantic beliefs or attitudes whether male or female. He or she lives to love another in ways that scream their love, every second and in every way. He or she does little things …unexpected things everyday…to let their Love know they are loved by a Romantic…getting as much pleasure doing that special thing as their Loved One will have in receiving it.So I ask you again…do you know a Romantic? Thankfully I do. But I must admit there was a long time that I thought my father was the last of the breed, and it was very discouraging. I gave up trying to find my Romantic, and though other men knew I was searching for him, they either told me to stop looking because he did not exist or they tried to be one…a charade too onerous for them to maintain for long, like a wolf in sheep’s clothing! And then, one day, he appeared…originally not how I thought I’d find him but undeniably him, and just as ready to find me, like the Beast who transforms into the Prince. A Romantic does things that are more than random acts of kindness or thoughtfulness. It’s more than opening a car door…it’s having made a music playlist of love songs that creates an ambiance that leaves no doubt of how precious their Loved One is without it being Valentine’s day, because to them, every day is Valentine’s Day. A Romantic can’t stop telling you how much they love you…verbally and behaviorally. The way you catch them looking at you with the most amazed expression followed by a sweet smile, when you’re not doing anything special. Or they’ll be the last one to fall asleep and the first to wake just so they can watch you. They’ll want to make passionate love or to just cuddle and hold you but not have ritual sex. They’ll have an undeniably physical reaction when in your presence more than the goofy smile that reflects their happiness with being with you. […]
